My stay at Hilton Garden Inn Rochester Downtown was quite pleasant overall. The hotel staff truly shines, providing warm hospitality and going above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. However, I did find the sliding bathroom door a bit annoying and the parking situation could be improved.

Rooms

The room was clean and well-maintained, though I found the sliding bathroom door less than ideal. It didn't block sounds or smells effectively. Overall, I appreciated the cleanliness and comfort.
Service

The service was really good. The staff, especially Tiffany and Savann, made me feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout my stay. They were attentive and genuinely friendly, raising the bar on hotel experiences.

The hotel's location is perfect. Being so close to the Mayo Clinic and many delicious restaurants made my stay incredibly convenient. Plus, the skyway access added a nice touch, helping me avoid harsh weather.

I didn't get to enjoy the breakfast personally, but I've heard great things about it. The overall dining options in the area are impressive, with several good choices nearby.
Facilities

Facilities like valet parking and the bar were well-organized. However, the parking lot was small and might present a challenge at times.

My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Rochester Downtown was a mixed bag. The location is fantastic, making it easy to access the Mayo Clinic and numerous dining options nearby. The cleanliness of the room was a highlight, though I struggled with the road noise from the street outside. While the breakfast was good, I found the parking fee a bit high for the area.

Rooms

The room was clean and well-furnished, but road noise was bothersome, especially at night.

7.2/10

I had an overall pleasant stay at Hilton Garden Inn Rochester Downtown, but there were a few hiccups. The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating, especially when my husband and I needed breakfast after hours. However, parking was a bit of a challenge, and I found the noise from traffic outside my room to be bothersome. Overall, it's a nice place, but some elements could use a bit of improvement. 😊

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were clean and well-stocked, but I experienced significant noise from the street that made it hard to sleep.
Service

The staff was amazing and went above and beyond, especially the cook who made breakfast for us even after hours.
Location

The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to access the Mayo Clinic and nearby dining options, although parking can be limited.

Breakfast was enjoyable and well-prepared, but I felt it was a bit pricey given that it wasn’t included in my stay.

Valet service was slow, and I faced challenges with parking during my visit. The lobby was also under renovation, which detracted from the atmosphere.

6.2/10

My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Rochester Downtown was fine overall. The friendly staff and convenient location near the Mayo Clinic were highlights, but the cleanliness and parking left much to be desired. While I appreciated some of the amenities, like the complimentary coffee and fruit in the lobby, the overall experience felt a bit lackluster.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were clean but basic, with nothing particularly special about them. I found the beds comfortable enough, and my room had decent space, but it felt somewhat outdated despite a fresh coat of paint.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly welcoming. Front desk personnel, especially Kim and Stephanie, made me feel right at home. Housekeeping, too, was attentive, with Jenny leaving thoughtful touches like toothpaste when she noticed I needed it.
Location
10.0
Location wise, I couldn't have asked for better. It's just a short walk to the Mayo Clinic, and I loved the skywalk access that kept me warm during the harsh winter. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants nearby if you don’t mind braving the cold.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast options were not included in my stay and seemed a bit overpriced based on what I saw. However, I appreciated the hot tea and coffee provided in the lobby throughout the day.
Facilities
6.0
While the pool was small and the parking situation was pretty chaotic, I valued the valet service which made logistics easier. There was no full-time bartender at the bar, which was a letdown, limiting my options after a long day.

6.2/10

My stay at Hilton Garden Inn Rochester Downtown had its ups and downs. The location is spot-on, close to the Mayo Clinic and lots of cool spots, making it super convenient. However, I was not thrilled with the rather lukewarm welcome and some underwhelming service from the staff, which made things a bit awkward. On the flip side, the breakfast was excellent and the valet service was handy when it worked as expected.

Rooms
8.0
The clean and comfy rooms were a highlight of my stay. Spacious enough and well-kept, they helped me relax after long days.
Service
6.0
While I had expected friendly service based on past visits, this time the staff felt a bit off-key. They could've been more engaging and helpful.
Location
10.0
You really can't beat the location! Close to the Mayo Clinic and a bunch of restaurants and shops, it's super convenient for anyone visiting the area.
Dining
9.0
Breakfast was a pleasant surprise—delicious and hot, with options that really hit the spot. It definitely started my day off right.
Facilities
7.0
Valet service was polished but inconsistent; it felt off when I had to go get my own car after paying for it. Also, some maintenance issues in the common areas were a letdown.
